Busking; Donations; Media, Media, Media
Hey Everyone!
Our group is so excited about all the attention Rudolph's Roundup has been getting. We've been in two papers, on tv, and have had people talking about us on Facebook and Twitter. We've even got permission to busk for change in Walmart! Students from our group will be there on Wednesdays and Fridays, so be sure to come on out and show your support. During our first day busking, people donated $65!
Additionally, early donations are already coming in. We have several board games in our hands that were donated, as well as used stuffed animals to be sold in the Interval Store, and teachers in our schools are setting up donation trees in their departments on which they will be (if they haven't started already) hanging up donations as decorations. Speaking of used items, this seems like a good time to mention that we accept all kinds of donation items. Any new items on our wish list will go to the women and children living in the interval home, while used items will be sold in the Interval Store to raise money to fund the Interval Home and buy all the things they need to keep running. For more information on our wishlist and items we are looking for see our What to Donate page.
Lastly, for this week, we want to share the coverage we've recieved from the media with you.

Christmas Cheer Here We Come!
Hello Everyone!
The last week has brought a lot of progress for the Rudolph's Roundup Team! We have fine tuned our posters, radio advertisements, video and website. We are also on twitter (@rudolphsroundup) and facebook (Rudolphs Roundup Twenty-eleven). We've started collecting boxes to put donations in, and we have written up letters to send to past supporters and other schools telling them how they can get involved. With 15 days left until we start collecting items, we are off to a great start. It is never too early, however, to start looking for and purchasing items to donate. We will start collecting items December 1st at Lloydminster Comprehensive High School, and Home Hardware.
Until next time,
Have a good week!

Time to Start Our Plans!
Hello Everyone,
Yesterday is the day our class officially started on our plans. From updating our posters, to contacting schools about helping out, there is sure a lot to be done. That's all fine, however, because we happen to have a great group! With as many hands as we have to run it, we are getting off to a great start. We have radio advertisements recorded, slogan made up, a twitter account, and soon will even have a Rudolph's Roundup 2011 Facebook page! We are off to a great start, and will do our best to keep the public updated on our progress of this website at least once a week. If anyone is interested in helping out, feel free to email us at betty.hartsaulnier@lpsd.ca
Until next time!
We look forward to a rewarding Holiday Season. :)

Another Year Gone, Another Chance to Help!
We would personally like to welcome everyone to the brand-new website for the one and only Rudolph's Roundup fundraiser! Held every year by the Media Studies 20 class at the Lloydminster Comprehensive High School for the last fourteen years, Rudolph's Roundup has become a part of our school and our community.
